    Cautions & Contraindications

    • FIERCE THERMOGENIC HEAT: Far hotter than common ginger (start with small doses). CONTRAINDICATED in Yin deficiency with heat-effusion and active bleeding ulcers. CONTRAINDICATED in early pregnancy.

    Clinical Applications

    • Postpartum uterine chill and lochial stasis (powerful myometrial stimulation), severe hypochlorhydric stomach cold with projectile vomiting, cold-damp rheumatoid arthritis, and acute hypothermia.

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    Preparation & Dosage
