    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Non-toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloid profile. In severe ciguatera with bradycardia and respiratory compromise, administer alongside hospital emergency intravenous mannitol and supportive care. Safe in lactation.

    Clinical Applications

    • Ciguatera marine fish poisoning (ciguatoxin-induced peripheral neurological dysesthesia and paresthesias), chronic tropical cutaneous ulcers and coral cuts (allantoin cicatrization), and gastroenteritis.

    Rosmarinic Acid (迷迭香酸) >= 1.50%-3.00% (Ciguatoxin neutralizing marker), Allantoin >= 0.50% & Lithospermic Acid B (HPLC)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Rosmarinic acid binds directly to voltage-gated sodium channels (Nav1.4/1.8), antagonizing ciguatoxin-induced channel opening and blocking peripheral sensory dysesthesia. 2. Allantoin stimulates epithelial cell proliferation.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN CIGUATERA REEF FISH ANTIDOTE PROTOCOL: 30 to 50 g fresh silvery leaves boiled in 500 mL water for 15 min (or 5 fresh leaves chewed and juice swallowed immediately); taken 3x daily until temperature reversal paresthesia resolves. Ulcer wash: 30 g leaves.
