- Closed traumatic contusions and sports ligament sprains (accelerating subcutaneous extravasated erythrocyte reabsorption), seasonal summer fevers, acute pharyngotonsillitis, and superficial burn washes.

1. Bioflavonoids and rosmarinic acid inhibit NF-kB and COX-2, dissipating traumatic sprain swelling. 2. Iridoid glucosides stimulate fibroblast wound granulation. 3. Antipyretic action.
Preparation & Dosage
THE SOVEREIGN KING'S MANTLE TRAUMATIC SPRAIN POULTICE: 30 to 50 g fresh leaves pounded with warm rice wine and salt; applied directly over sprained ankles and bruised joints, bound for 12h. Febrifuge tea: 10-15 g dried leaves boiled in 400 mL water.
