    Nipplefruit / Golden Fruit (Terung Susu / Wu Zhi Qie / Ru Qie). Glossy golden pyriform fruit with 5 basal nipples. Supreme external monarch for scrofulous lymphadenitis (Lin Ba Jie He), dissolves skin tumors, destroys tinea ringworm. LETHAL INTERNALLY.

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • HIGH GLYCOALKALOID TOXICITY WARNING: Ingestion of raw or cooked fruit can be fatal (causes severe gastrointestinal burning, hemolysis, and cardiac arrest). STRICTLY FOR EXTERNAL DERMATOLOGICAL USE. CONTRAINDICATED IN PREGNANCY.

    Clinical Applications

    • Cutaneous malignancies (basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma apoptosis induction via Solamargine), tuberculous cervical lymphadenitis, stubborn fungal dermatomycoses, and boils.

    Quality Markers

    Solamargine >= 1.00%-2.20%, Solasonine >= 0.80%-1.50% & Solasodine >= 0.50% (HPLC ChP/MHM standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Solamargine binds rhamnose-binding protein (RBP) receptors on tumor cells, triggering rapid Caspase-3/9 apoptosis. 2. Steroidal glycoalkaloids lyse fungal ergosterol membranes. 3. Systemic ingestion causes severe hemolysis and cardiac arrest.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN TERUNG SUSU SCROFULA & LYMPH POULTICE: 1 fresh ripe fruit sliced in half, roasted over charcoal for 30s until warm; rubbed directly over cervical lymph lumps for 5 min, then sliced disc taped on lump for 4h daily. STRICTLY EXTERNAL USE.

    • 1. The Sovereign Scrofulous Lymphadenitis Dissolving Duo with internal Prunella vulgaris (Xia Ku Cao). 2. Refractory Fungal Ringworm Rub with Senna alata (Gelenggang juice).
