Mechanism & Phytochemistry

1. Anthraquinones (chrysophanol, rhein, aloe-emodin) directly lyse fungal cell walls, inhibiting dermatophyte spore germination and ergosterol biosynthesis. 2. Rhein downregulates NF-kB in keratinocytes, suppressing inflammatory pruritus. 3. Sennosides stimulate colonic peristalsis for purgative relief.

Preparation & Dosage
