    Goldvein Plant (Daun Urat Emas / Jin Ye Mu / Huang Mai Jue Chuang). Glossy leaves with glowing yellow veins and red bracts. Sovereign tropical poultice for traumatic bruises: dissipates purple hematomas, relieves sprains, granulates wounds.

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Apply primarily to closed contusions, sprains, and minor cuts. High clinical and topical safety profile. Safe during lactation; moderate internal use during pregnancy.

    Clinical Applications

    • Closed traumatic hematomas and soft tissue contusions (accelerating extravasated erythrocyte reabsorption), ligamentous sprains, acute superficial burns, aphthous ulcers, and pharyngitis.

    Quality Markers

    Sancheziosides A & B (Flavone C-glycosides) >= 0.80% & Apigenin-7-O-glucoside (HPLC MHM standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Sancheziosides stimulate microvascular tissue plasminogen activator (tPA), clearing subcutaneous hematomas within 48h. 2. Apigenin downregulates NF-kB and PGE2 for sprain pain. 3. Tannins accelerate wound granulation.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN SANCHEZIA TRAUMATIC BRUISE POULTICE: 5 to 8 fresh leaves pounded with 1 tsp warm rice wine and salt; applied directly over sprained ankles and purple hematomas, bound with gauze for 12h. Sore throat tea: 10-15 g dried leaves boiled in 400 mL water.
