    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Acute traumatic laceration hemostasis (rapid platelet activation and fibrin polymerization), chronic diabetic foot ulcers, MRSA wound infections, and postpartum sitz baths.

    Dillapiole (莳萝油脑) >= 35.0%-65.0% & 4-Hydroxy-3-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)benzoic acid >= 1.00% (GC-MS/HPLC)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Prenylated benzoic acids induce precapillary vasoconstriction and accelerate platelet GPIIb/IIIa cross-linking. 2. Dillapiole causes cell wall lysis in MRSA and Leishmania. 3. Flavokawain gastric cytoprotection.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN MATICO RAINFOREST WOUND-SEALING POULTICE: 30 to 50 g fresh leaves crushed into pulp pressed over bleeding cuts. Postpartum sitz bath: 30 g dried leaves boiled in 1.5 L water for episiotomy healing. Tea: 5-10 g.
