Tree Bean (Kedawung / Kedaung). Straight woody pods containing rock-hard pitch-black seeds. Roasted until popping into coffee-nutty aroma: Javanese Jamu monarch for warming Stomach, halting spastic gas colic, binding chronic watery diarrhea.
Cautions & Contraindications
- Always roast or boil rock-hard black seeds before ingestion (hydrolyzes raw phytates). High clinical and Jamu safety profile. Contraindicated in spastic constipation with dry hard stools.

- Functional gastrointestinal dyspepsia with severe tympanites, acute and chronic secretory diarrhea, choleraic enteritis, infant griping colic, and postpartum abdominal chill.

Preparation & Dosage
THE SOVEREIGN JAVANESE JAMU KEDAUNG STOMACH-WARMING POWDER: Dry-roast black seeds in sand/pan until shells crack and pop; peel black hull, grind yellow kernel into fine nutty powder: 3-5 g taken with warm ginger water. Bark decoction: 10-15 g.
