Cautions & Contraindications

CRITICAL TOXICITY: Raw, unboiled, unfermented seeds release lethal hydrogen cyanide (HCN) causing respiratory arrest and death. NEVER INGEST RAW.

Mechanism & Phytochemistry

1. Raw seeds contain toxic gynocardin (cyanogenic glucoside); boiling and 40-day anaerobic pit fermentation completely hydrolyze gynocardin into safe black melanoidin complexes (HCN < 10 ppm). 2. Hydnocarpic and chaulmoogric fatty acids disrupt bacterial/fungal membranes. 3. Dense melanoidins prevent lipid peroxidation.

Preparation & Dosage
