Sovereign transdermal heated compress leaf (Daun Layu / Bertungku). Clears toxic heat internally; transdermally warms channels, expels cold, dissolves postpartum lochia, and relieves deep joint pain.
Cautions & Contraindications
- Test leaf temperature against inner wrist before placing on skin to prevent burns. High safety profile; monitor total fluid intake in severe renal failure.
Clinical Applications

Quality Markers
Mechanism & Phytochemistry
1. Heated oiled leaf softens cuticle to liberate asperuloside and scopoletin, suppressing localized bradykinin and PGE2 for transdermal muscular relaxation. 2. Rutin and EGCG scavenge ROS in hepatocytes. 3. Ursolic acid stimulates Type I collagen synthesis.
Preparation & Dosage
