    Bellyache Bush (Jarak Merah). Dark purple-bronze leaves fringed with sticky glandular hairs. Petiole sap halts bleeding cuts in 30 seconds, draws pus from blind carbuncles, stops toothache, and kills ringworm (Kurap).

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • CRITICAL SEED TOXICITY WARNING: Ingestion of seeds causes violent vomiting and severe colic (Curcin hazard). SEEDS PROHIBITED ORALLY. STRICTLY CONTRAINDICATED IN PREGNANCY (potent oxytocic abortifacient). Keep away from eyes.

    Clinical Applications

    • Acute traumatic bleeding cuts/lacerations (rapid platelet aggregation and clotting), severe suppurative cutaneous furunculosis, acute toothache, and melanoma/breast cancer adjuvant care.

    Jatrophone (Macrocyclic Diterpene) >= 0.50%, Gossypifan & Jatropholones A & B (HPLC MHM standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Jatrophone macrocyclic diterpene covalently alkylates tubulin and DNA topoisomerase II, inducing G2/M arrest and Caspase-3/9 apoptosis in carcinoma cells. 2. Fresh petiole sap coagulates fibrinogen within 30s. 3. Anti-Staph bactericidal lysis.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN 30-SECOND HEMOSTATIC LATEX PROTOCOL (Getah Jarak Merah): Snap fresh petiole, apply 2-3 drops of yellow sap directly over bleeding cuts (instant clot). Fresh purple leaf poultice for boils: 30 g with brown sugar. Decoct: 5-10 g max.
