    Beach Morning Glory (Tapak Kuda / Ma An Teng). Fleshy 2-lobed horse-hoof leaves and magenta flowers. Sovereign shoreline antidote (Penawar Ubur-ubur) that neutralizes agonizing marine jellyfish and stingray stings, knits fractures, and dispels arthritis.

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Rinse sting with seawater or vinegar (NEVER FRESH WATER). Ingestion of raw unboiled leaves causes mild purgation. Contraindicated during active pregnancy (pelvic-moving dynamics).

    Clinical Applications

    • Acute marine jellyfish envenomation (Chironex/Physalia sting neutralization), acute inflammatory edema, chronic rheumatoid arthritis, knee osteoarthritis, and acute hemorrhoids.

    Quality Markers

    2-Hydroxy-4,4,7-trimethyl-1(4H)-naphthalenone >= 0.50% & Pescaprosides A & B (HPLC/GC-MS MHM standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. 2-Hydroxy-4,4,7-trimethyl-1(4H)-naphthalenone directly inactivates venomous pore-forming cytolysins and toxic PLA2, halting histamine shock and dermonecrosis. 2. Pescaprosides downregulate synovial PGE2/MMP-13. 3. Transdermal TRPA1 analgesia.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN EMERGENCY JELLYFISH STING PROTOCOL: 15-20 fresh leaves pounded with sea water into paste, warmed over stones, applied thickly over tentacle stings for 1-2 hours (neutralizes burning agony). Dried stem decoction: 15-30 g daily.
