    Traditional Edict

    Pointed-Leaf Tongkat Ali (Payung Ali). Slender rainforest treelet with sharply pointed leaflets. Extremely bitter deep taproot. Powerfully tonifies Kidney Yang, boosts testosterone, revitalizes stamina, and terminates malaria.

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Intensely bitter active quassinoid; do not exceed 10 g crude root daily. CONTRAINDICATED in androgen-sensitive prostate carcinoma, severe cardiovascular disease, and acute insomnia. Forbidden in pregnancy.

    Clinical Applications

    • Late-onset male hypogonadism (andropause / low free testosterone), oligospermia, erectile dysfunction, athletic performance stamina, chronic fatigue, and chloroquine-resistant malaria.

    Quality Markers

    Eurycomanone >= 1.50%-2.00% & Eurycomanol via HPLC (MHM standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Eurycomanone quassinoids upregulate steroidogenic CYP17A1 and 3b-HSD in testicular Leydig cells, significantly boosting free testosterone. 2. Inhibits CYP19A1 aromatase and frees testosterone from SHBG. 3. Antimalarial 80S ribosomal arrest.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN NANYANG ROYAL PRIMAL YANG TONIC: 3-5 g dried sliced taproot shavings simmered in 500 mL water for 25 min; taken in morning. Royal Medicated Liqueur with Tongkat Ali Merah and Goji. Standardized extract: 100-200 mg daily.
