Sovereign of Bencao Gangmu for Venting Measles & Chelating Heavy Metals: boiled whole-plant tea opens pores to vent incomplete viral rashes, dispels stomach gas, chelates lead and mercury.

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Stop high-dose diaphoretic decoctions once viral rash has fully erupted to prevent excessive sweating and Qi exhaustion. Exceptional culinary, pediatric, and maternal safety profile.

    Clinical Applications

    • Incomplete pediatric measles and viral exanthem eruption (cutaneous capillary vasodilation via Petroselinic acid and Linalool >= 60.0%), heavy metal neurotoxicity chelation (accelerated urinary Pb/Hg/Cd excretion), and functional flatulent dyspepsia.

    Quality Markers

    D-Linalool (Coriandrol / 右旋芳樟醇) >= 60.0%-75.0% in seed oil, Essential Oil >= 0.80% v/w & Petroselinic Acid >= 65.0%

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Aliphatic aldehydes and flavonoids form bidentate coordination bonds with heavy metal cations (Pb2+, Hg2+), accelerating trans-renal excretion. 2. D-Linalool acts on enteric 5-HT3 receptors, accelerating motility.

    Preparation & Dosage

    CORIANDER MEASLES VENTING DECOCTION (Yansui Tou Zhen Tang): 30 g fresh whole plant with roots boiled with Ge Gen (10 g) in 500 mL water for 10 min; drink warm and wash torso with vapor (safely vents rash). HEAVY METAL CHELATION: 15 to 20 g fresh cilantro pesto daily with Chlorella. Seed tea: 6 to 12 g.
