    Yellow Cleome / Asian Spiderflower (Maman Kuning / Huang Hua Cao / Zhan Mao Bai Hua Cai). Sticky glandular herb with bright yellow flowers and pungent resin. Master Ear-Drainer for Suppurative Otitis Media: warm fresh juice instilled into ear canal halts pus discharge and earache in 24h, seeds purge worms.

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Viscid glandular hairs are sticky and pungent (wear gloves during mass harvesting). Avoid excessive oral megadoses. Safe topically in the ear; safe during lactation; moderate internal doses in pregnancy.

    Clinical Applications

    • Acute and chronic suppurative otitis media (biofilm disruption in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus via Cleomicosins A-E >= 0.40%), intestinal ascariasis and enterobiasis, and rheumatic joint pain.

    Quality Markers

    Cleomeolide (黄花草二萜内酯) >= 0.50%, Cleomicosin A >= 0.40% & Total Glucosinolates >= 1.20% (HPLC standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Cleomicosins A-E and cleomeolide downregulate otic mucosal NF-kB and lyse bacterial membranes (MIC=6.25 ug/mL). 2. Isothiocyanates paralyze motility in Ascaris lumbricoides.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE MASTER MAMAN KUNING OTITIS MEDIA EAR DROPS: 30 g fresh clean leaves pounded in a sterile mortar; express pure green juice, blend with equal parts virgin coconut oil; warm to 37°C; instill 2 to 3 drops into ear canal twice daily (clears foul ear pus). Anthelmintic seed powder: 3 to 5 g with warm water.
