    Cautions & Contraindications

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN SETAWAR HUTAN ANTIDIABETIC & NEPHRITIS DECOCTION: 15 to 25 g dried rhizome slices boiled with Patawali (10 g) in 600 mL water for 20 min; taken warm twice daily after meals (lowers blood sugar and flushes edema). Skin pruritus wash: 30 g rhizome boiled in water.
