    Clinical Applications

    • Dermatological hyperpigmentation and melasma (tyrosinase and MITF inhibition via Calliterpenone >= 0.60% and Ursolic acid), chronic bleeding gums and periodontitis (MMP-8/9 suppression), and uterine bleeding.

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Calliterpenone competitively inhibits tyrosinase (IC50=2.1 ug/mL), reducing melanin synthesis by >60%. 2. Calliterpenone and forsythoside B accelerate platelet aggregation and Factor VII/XII synthesis.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE ROYAL PRIYANGU COMPLEXION-BRIGHTENING MASK: 10 g ultra-fine leaf powder blended with rose water and honey into a facial paste; applied for 20 min 3x weekly (erases melasma and bestows porcelain glow). Bleeding gum rinse: 15 g dried leaves boiled in 300 mL water. Decoction: 10-20 g.
