    Heart of Jesus / Caladium (Keladi Merah / Wu Cai Yu / Cai Ye Yu). Variegated heart leaves with crimson centers. Sovereign for Drawing Deep Blind Boils & Foreign Splinters (Ubat Bisul & Selumbar): pounded corm paste brings boils to a head in 12h, draws out pus cores. STRICTLY NO INTERNAL INGESTION.

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • BLACK BOX TOXICITY WARNING: CHEWING OR SWALLOWING CAUSES VIOLENT THROAT SWELLING, ASPHYXIATION, AND GASTRIC BURNING (CALCIUM OXALATE RAPHIDES). ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN FOR INTERNAL USE IN ALL HUMANS.

    Clinical Applications

    • Suppurative cutaneous furuncles, carbuncles, and blind abscesses (micro-mechanical hyperemia and rapid pus localization via Calcium Oxalate Raphides and Caladiin proteases), and embedded thorn splinters. Strictly external.

    Quality Markers

    Insoluble Calcium Oxalate Raphides (草酸钙针晶), Caladiin (cysteine endopeptidase) & Rutin >= 0.50% (Standardized assay)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Insoluble needle raphides and caladiin stimulate localized capillary hyperemia and neutrophil chemotaxis, accelerating pus core evacuation. 2. Isovitexin downregulates TNF-a.

    Preparation & Dosage

    CRITICAL MANDATE: STRICTLY EXTERNAL USE ONLY (0.0 g internal dose). BOIL & SPLINTER DRAWING POULTICE: 20 to 30 g fresh corm or leaf pounded with 1 tsp coconut oil into a paste; applied over center of blind boil for 4 to 6 hours (draws pus in 12-24h). Wash skin after removal.
