    Java Brucea / Macassar Kernels (Melada Pahit / Ya Dan Zi / Ku Shen Zi). Black wrinkled drupes with white bitter kernels. Undisputed Emperor of Amoebic Dysentery & Antineoplastic Embolization (Ya Dan Zi You): terminates amoebic dysentery, induces cancer apoptosis, corrodes viral warts (You Mu).

    Cautions & Contraindications

    • GASTRIC IRRITATION & TOXICITY WARNING: Chewing seeds causes severe esophageal burning and projectile vomiting. CONTRAINDICATED in active gastric ulcers, severe liver/kidney dysfunction, and PREGNANCY (EMBRYOTOXIC).

    Clinical Applications

    • Intestinal and hepatic amoebiasis (Entamoeba histolytica trophozoite lysis via Brusatol), advanced non-small cell lung cancer and esophageal carcinoma (Ya Dan Zi You emulsion), viral verruca warts and corns.

    Quality Markers

    Bruceantin >= 0.30%, Brusatol >= 0.20%, Bruceosides A-C & Brucea Javanica Oil >= 18.0%-25.0% (HPLC/GC Chinese Pharmacopoeia standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Brusatol and bruceantin bind eukaryotic 60S ribosomal subunits, halting protein synthesis and triggering cancer apoptosis. 2. Brucea oil fatty acids disrupt amoebic cell membranes.

    Preparation & Dosage

    CRITICAL PAOZHI & SWALLOWING PROTOCOL: 10 to 20 intact dehusked white kernels ENCAPSULATED OR EMBEDDED IN LONGAN PULP (Long Yan Rou) SWALLOWED WHOLE (NEVER CHEW; chewing causes violent vomiting). Topical warts: crushed seed oil applied directly onto wart (protect surrounding skin).
