    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Sterilize and micro-filter leaf infusion before using as ophthalmic wash. Exceptional nutritional, maternal, pediatric, and gestational safety profile. Safe in pregnancy and lactation.

    Clinical Applications

    • Postpartum maternal physical exhaustion and hypogalactia (nourishing fluids and Spleen-Qi), acute catarrhal conjunctivitis and ocular strain (Luteolin-7-glucoside anti-inflammatory action), and alcohol intoxication.

    Luteolin-7-O-glucoside >= 0.60%, Apigenin, Ascorbic Acid >= 45 mg/100g & Citric/Malic Acids (HPLC standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Luteolin-7-glucoside and apigenin downregulate ocular conjunctival COX-2 and PGE2 to clear red eyes. 2. Natural organic acids stimulate digestive secretion and hepatic alcohol dehydrogenase.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN RAMBAI POSTPARTUM RECOVERY SOUP (Sup Daun Rambai Bersalin): 100 g fresh tender Rambai leaves simmered with chicken and ginger for 25 min (consumed during confinement). Eye wash: fresh bark/leaf juice sterile-filtered for conjunctivitis. Fruit: 100-200 g fresh.
