    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Apply cooking oil to knives/hands when cutting raw fruit to prevent sticky latex adhesion. High nutritional, maternal, and pediatric safety profile. Safe in pregnancy and lactation.

    Clinical Applications

    • Alcohol acute intoxication and hangover recovery (accelerating hepatic ethanol dehydrogenase clearance via Artocarpesin and fructose), postpartum lactation deficiency (stimulating prolactin), and Type 2 Diabetes glycemic control.

    Quality Markers

    Artocarpesin >= 0.80%, Morin >= 0.50%, Jacalin (lectin) & Resistant Starch >= 35.0% in seeds (HPLC standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Artocarpesin and morin accelerate hepatic ADH/ALDH clearance of acetaldehyde. 2. Green young jackfruit (Nangka Muda) fiber and flavonoids blunt postprandial glucose. 3. Seed resistant starches nourish gut flora.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN NANGKA MUDA CONFINEMENT LACTATION DISH: 150 to 200 g tender young green jackfruit (Nangka Muda) simmered in coconut milk with turmeric, lemongrass, and chicken for 30 min (promotes rich milk flow). Hangover remedy: 100 g fresh ripe arils or seed tea (30 g).
