    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Sterilize and soften raw bast fibers before using as skin-contact abdominal binder. High orthopedic and maternal safety profile. Safe in lactation; avoid high internal doses in early pregnancy.

    Clinical Applications

    • Postpartum abdominal rectus diastasis and pelvic floor laxity (compressive bio-mechanical stabilization via Kulit Terap binding), closed bone fractures and ligament tears (osteogenic collagen cross-linking via Artelasticin), and rheumatoid arthralgia.

    Quality Markers

    Artelasticin (弹胶波罗蜜素) >= 0.80%, Cycloartobiloxanthone >= 0.60% & Total Prenylflavonoids >= 2.80% (HPLC standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Artelasticin and cycloartobiloxanthone selectively inhibit COX-2 (IC50=2.8 uM) and iNOS, relieving orthopedic pain. 2. Triterpenes stimulate osteoblastic ALP. 3. High-tensile bast fibers provide ergonomic compression.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE ROYAL BENGKUNG KULIT TERAP MATERNAL BINDER: Beaten inner bast bark boiled in turmeric water, dried, and tailored into a breathable compression binder worn over abdomen daily for 44 days. Bone knitting decoction: 15 to 30 g dried bark chips boiled with rice wine.
