    Cautions & Contraindications

    Quality Markers

    Artocarpin (异戊烯基黄酮) >= 1.50%, Cycloartocarpin, Morin & Total Prenylflavonoids >= 3.80% (HPLC MHM standard)

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Artocarpin and prenylated flavonoids competitively inhibit hepatic Xanthine Oxidase (IC50=12.2 ug/mL), lowering serum uric acid. 2. Blocks vascular calcium influx to drop blood pressure. 3. Hepatoprotective.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN TEH DAUN SUKUN HYPERTENSION & GOUT TEA: 1 large dried fallen yellow/brown Sukun leaf (approx. 15-20 g) shredded and boiled in 1 liter water for 20 min until deep amber tea forms; drink warm throughout the day for blood pressure and uric acid. Cooked fruit: 100-200 g for Spleen energy.
