    Cautions & Contraindications

    • Acute non-specific diarrhea and rotavirus enteritis (mucosal protein cross-linking via Corilagin and Gallotannins), postpartum maternal recovery baths, and acute pharyngotonsillitis.

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Corilagin and gallotannins form coordinate bonds with enterocyte proteins, halting fluid hypersecretion within 24h. 2. Bathwater flavonoids stimulate peripheral cutaneous vasodilation for fever.

    Preparation & Dosage

    THE SOVEREIGN SEKEPAS MATERNAL RECOVERY BATH: 150 to 200 g fresh leaves boiled with Vitex negundo (Lemuni) and lemongrass in 5 L water for maternal confinement baths. Dysentery tea: 20 to 30 g dried leaves or ripe black berries boiled in 500 mL water for 15 min.
