    Cautions & Contraindications

    • NEVER INGEST RAW CRUDE CORMS (causes severe tongue burning and throat edema; thorough boiling with tamarind renders it 100% safe, delicious, and medicinal). Safe in pregnancy once cooked.

    • Bleeding internal and external hemorrhoids (proctological tissue shrinking and venous tone improvement via Betulinic acid and Glucomannan), Spleen-deficiency digestive sluggishness, and dry constipation.

    Mechanism & Phytochemistry

    1. Betulinic acid and phytosterols downregulate hemorrhoidal venous inflammation and platelet micro-thrombosis. 2. High prebiotic glucomannan forms soft, non-abrasive bulky stools to prevent straining.
